Volunteer Opportunities for Members
The Junior League of Johnson City provides volunteer opportunities to its members to serve our community. We partner with organizations that serve women and children in the Washington, Carter, and Unicoi county area. Currently, the Junior League of Johnson City has volunteer opportunities with:
Girls Inc.
Girls On The Run
Girl Scouts
Ronald McDonald House
Ballad Health’s Scarecrow Skedaddle
Second Harvest Food Bank
United Way of Washington County
Woodridge Psychiatric Hospital- Willow Unit
The Junior Leagues of the Tri-Cities Food Drive
Frontier Health
Each spring, the Junior Leagues of Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol partner with area Food City’s to collect non perishable food for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Food has been collected at local Food City grocery stores and at some elementary schools. With the help of volunteers and citizens, millions of pounds of food have been collected and distributed to needy families in our area.
Would your organization like to partner with Junior League of Johnson City for volunteer opportunities? We are always looking for other volunteer opportunities that fit our Community Impact statement.
